Description
The lessons to learn how to ride a horse are personalized with a 60 minutes duration. They are comprehensive classes to learn how to ride a horse and how to handle them for their basic care and needs. Children exercise outdoors, developing their balance and coordination. Empathy and responsibility are encouraged by having to take care of another living being.
It promotes work and effort to achieve their goals. Children who grow up interacting with horses are more sensitive to nature, learn to enjoy and respect it. In addition, having to take care of another living being fosters their empathy and sense of responsibility. The initiation is from scratch, generating security and confidence bonds. Then, we work on balance and equilibrium on the horse, being this the fundamental basis of a good rider.
We practice a bunch of games and exercises to improve balance, coordination and confidence. Each student’s reality is taken into account: how long they have been riding, if they are afraid and what previous experiences they may have had with horses, in order to work on their weaknesses and strengths. The level of progress of each child is a unique formula; each child learns at their own level without pressure; it is a tailor-made suit where we adapt our method to the abilities of each child. Our method is based on the principles of trust and respect in order to create bonds between human and equine. All participants in this activity must sign waivers and forms.
